about everyday balance


The concept of everydaybalance began in August 2007. One evening I was inspired to combine my passion for writing and my recent studies in positive psychology to create a space where people could come for connection, inspiration or simply to find simple steps to add balance to their lives. I write an inspiration piece and a poem based around my own experiences and those around me. From the feedback I receive from my readers, I often find that the issues that people are working with on one side of the world mirror those of people living an ocean away. In this way, it is obvious to me how connected we all are. I believe that by intending to live our individual lives with more balance, we effect not only those in our immediate circle, but those also looking for more balance in communities around the world.

Writing has always been an incredibly rewarding experience for me, but it was not until I found a place from which I could share my writing that I found it was also a benefit to others. I look forward to writing my pieces each month and receiving stories of the experiences that people have while applying these tools or what a piece brings up for them.

I feel gratitude for every email I receive and for the clients that I am blessed to work with using the tools of yoga, meditation, creative writing and life coaching.
